Tamobila vs GoCar.ma
GoCar.ma sells online-payment integration and a clean reservation UI. We ship the workflow underneath — photos, OCR, blacklist, analytics. Honest comparison.
GoCar.ma is a Moroccan car-rental tool whose pitch is online booking with CMI + PayPal acceptance and a clean interface. We do the booking too — and the photo trail, the licence OCR, the cross-agency blacklist, the 8-language UI (FR, AR, EN, ES, DE, IT, PT, NL), and the forecast layer that decide the deposits and the Monday-morning numbers.
Side by side, written for an agency choosing between the two.

Where GoCar.ma is strong
The consumer-facing payment story. CMI is real, PayPal is real, and the booking widget is genuinely on the page. For a single-agency owner whose biggest unsolved problem is "tourists can't prepay online before they land," GoCar.ma solves that today and we don't yet (it's on our roadmap).
Beyond that, the product is thin: no signature flow advertised, no OCR, no guided photo inspection, no GPS, no analytics, French only at the counter, no public pricing. The support model is WhatsApp messages and a weekly Google Meet training session.
Where we're different
Three deliberate choices:
- The operational workflow ships first, the storefront second. Phone-signed contracts, 8-photo inspection, licence OCR, document watchdog, cross-agency blacklist, GPS, geofence, WhatsApp confirmations — the features that win deposits and reduce no-shows are in the box from Free up. Online prepayment is on the roadmap.
- Per-car pricing, public, on the website. No reseller cart, no quote-only — what's on the pricing page is what you pay. (Why we charge per car)
- Eight languages out of the box (FR, AR, EN, ES, DE, IT, PT, NL — community-extendable), where GoCar ships French only.
The price, side by side
GoCar.ma doesn't publish a price, so this is an apples-to-listed-price comparison only:
| Plan | Tamobila Y1 | GoCar.ma |
|---|---|---|
| Starter (3 cars) | 99 MAD/mo | Quote |
| Pro (6 cars + analytics) | 199 MAD/mo | Quote |
| Scale (100 cars) | 349 MAD/mo | Quote |
Extra cars: 35 MAD/month, removed when the car leaves the fleet. Year 2 reverts to the published list (150/300/500 MAD).
Who GoCar.ma is right for — honestly
A single-agency owner whose top problem is online prepayment from foreign cards and who's willing to handle photos, contracts, blacklist and analytics outside the software. The CMI + PayPal integration is real value if that's your bottleneck today.
Who we're right for
Almost every other case: agencies that lose deposits to undocumented damage, agencies that get burnt by the same bad customer twice, agencies that want Monday-morning numbers without rebuilding them in Excel, agencies that need Arabic at the counter. For year one, at a public price.
Free plan, one car, no card. We migrate the first 50 contracts for free.
The cars do the talking. The pricing page just has to get out of the way.
