Tamobila vs LocApp
LocApp has the cleanest UI of the local options. We have the cheapest first-year price and the deepest workflow. Here's where each one wins.
LocApp is one of the better-looking pieces of car-rental software in Morocco. The trial is real, the contract flow on the phone is fast, and the team replies in French within the hour. We're new, we're cheaper for year one, and we go deeper on the workflows that decide deposits and no-shows.
Here's the comparison without the marketing.

Where LocApp is strong
The cleanest UI of the Moroccan options. A 14-day trial with no card up front. A French-speaking team that picks up the phone. The phone-signature flow for contracts is well executed and fast — for a single-branch agency that lives in French, the experience at the counter is good.
Where it gets thinner: the blacklist stops at your agency's edge, the photo inspection isn't a guided protocol (you remember to take photos, or you don't), and the ROI / forecast layer sits behind a paid add-on. The bill grows with users — hire a counter staffer, the line item bumps.
Where we're different
Three deliberate choices:
- Per-car pricing. Adding a counter staffer doesn't move the bill. Selling a car drops it next month. Costs scale with revenue, not headcount. (Why we charge per car)
- Cross-agency blacklist. A LocApp blacklist catches the customer who burnt your agency. Ours catches the one who burnt the agency across town last week and just walked into yours. (Five questions before keys leave the drawer)
- Forecast & ROI in Pro, not as an add-on. Per-car lifetime curves, utilisation, RevPAD — the numbers an owner reads Monday morning ship in the Pro plan. No upgrade tier. (The numbers every owner should read)
Plus 8 languages out of the box (FR, AR, EN, ES, DE, IT, PT, NL — community-extendable to any other), where LocApp ships French only.
The price, side by side
Year-1 pricing is below LocApp at every tier. Not because we're cheaper to run — because earning a year-one agency means making the math obvious.
| Plan | Tamobila Y1 | LocApp equivalent |
|---|---|---|
| Starter (3 cars) | 99 MAD/mo | ~200 MAD/mo |
| Pro (6 cars + analytics) | 199 MAD/mo | ~400 MAD/mo + analytics add-on |
| Scale (100 cars) | 349 MAD/mo | ~800 MAD/mo |
Extra cars: 35 MAD/month, removed the day the car leaves the fleet. Year 2 reverts to the published list (150/300/500 MAD) — what's on the pricing page the day you sign is what you pay forever after.
Who LocApp is right for — honestly
A single-branch French-speaking agency with a small team that wants a good-looking app, a fast trial, and the basics done well. If your customers don't speak Arabic at the counter, your blacklist concerns stop at your own door, and you don't need analytics, LocApp will serve you fine.
Who we're right for
A multi-branch or Arabic-speaking agency, anyone who's been burnt by deposit disputes, anyone who wants the ROI numbers without an add-on, and anyone who'd rather pay for cars than seats. For year one, at half LocApp's price.
Free plan, one car, no card — run a real contract through the app this week and decide on the data. We migrate the first 50 contracts for free.
The cars do the talking. The pricing page just has to get out of the way.
