Tamobila vs Yarent

Yarent is the most feature-complete car-rental ERP on the Moroccan market today — phone signature, OCR, GPS with remote engine cut-off, accounting export with TVA, FR/AR/EN/ES UI, integrated B2C booking site. We don't pretend they're a thin competitor. We're newer, cheaper per car for year one, and matching their depth feature by feature.

Honest comparison, written for an agency on Yarent's shortlist.

Where Yarent is strong

The single most feature-complete competitor. The only one on this list with remote engine cut-off, TVA-formatted accounting export, and an auto-generated B2C booking microsite in the Business tier today. For a multi-branch agency that wants every operational box ticked today, Yarent ships it. (We've already shipped fines / PV; TVA export and the B2C microsite are next on our queue.)

Where the trade-off lives: GPS and engine cut-off are Enterprise-only, the blacklist stops at your own agency's edge, and the bill at 35 cars (399 MAD) and 60 cars (599 MAD) is roughly double what we charge for matching coverage. Per-agency tiers also mean an 8-car agency on the 15-cap tier is paying for 15.

Where we're different

Two big choices and one matching commitment:

  1. Per-car pricing, no vehicle-cap tiers. A 35-car agency pays for 35 cars on Tamobila, not for the 35-cap tier. Cars sold drop off the bill next month. (Why we charge per car)
  2. Cross-agency blacklist by default. Yarent's blacklist works inside your agency. Ours flags a customer refused at another agency in the network — the difference between catching the bad actor and inheriting them.
  3. Feature parity is the roadmap. Where Yarent ships something we don't (remote engine cut-off, TVA accounting export, B2C booking site), we've committed to ship it — the TVA export and the booking microsite are next on the queue. The bet is that we close those gaps faster than the price gap closes. On languages we've already passed them — they ship 4, we ship 8. Fines / PV is already shipped on our side.

The price, side by side

Plan Tamobila Y1 Yarent equivalent
Starter (3 cars) 99 MAD/mo 89 MAD/mo (Mini, cap 5)
Pro (6 cars + analytics) 199 MAD/mo 199 MAD/mo (Starter, cap 15)
Scale (100 cars + manager) 349 MAD/mo 599 MAD/mo (Business, cap 60)
Enterprise (∞) Quote Quote

At Mini, Yarent is 10 MAD cheaper. At every tier above, we're cheaper — and the gap widens. At a 35-car fleet we're 200 MAD cheaper a month, every month. Extra cars: 35 MAD/month, removed when the car leaves. Year 2 reverts to the published list (150/300/500 MAD) — still below Yarent at every tier except Mini.

Who Yarent is right for — honestly

An agency that needs remote engine cut-off today and can't wait a quarter for us to ship it, or one that wants the TVA accounting export and B2C booking site live right now rather than next quarter. They have the deepest operational ERP on the Moroccan market and they earned that position.

Who we're right for

Almost every other case on Yarent's shortlist: agencies whose top need is photos, OCR, signature, cross-agency blacklist and analytics — all of which we already ship and they ship — but who don't want to pay the per-agency tier overhead. For year one, at half their price at the mid- and upper tiers.
